Daniel Weintraub is an audio post-production mixer, video editor, and filmmaker with decades of experience across film, television, and advertising. He has mixed hundreds of commercials and promos, as well as several feature films. Recent work includes documentaries such as Forced Change and Deep Listening: The Story of Pauline Oliveros, and the feature films The Haunted Forest and The Winter House. Whether working on documentary, drama, or horror, Daniel brings trusted ears and deep technical fluency to every mix.
As a film and video editor, Daniel has collaborated with networks including Comedy Central, HBO, NBC, and Nickelodeon, earning ProMax and BDA awards along the way. His editorial background informs his approach to dialogue editing, and sound design, strengthening his ability to shape story through sound.
Daniel’s work as a director on short films and feature documentaries gives him a collaborative, director-centered perspective in the mix room. For the past ten years, he has worked out of Artfarm Recording in Accord, NY, where he also engineers recording sessions for artists such as The Felice Brothers and Pauline Oliveros with Nels Cline. The Artfarm provides a beautiful mixing space and housing on a lovely farm just North of NYC.
